Insecticide It is possible to destroy pests of gardens, vegetable gardens and indoor plants not only by treatment with insecticidal solutions on the leaves, but also by the method of introducing drugs into the soil. It is advisable to destroy some pests before they fly out of the ground and lay offspring on the ground organs of plants. And some pests generally live in the ground, damaging the root system of your plants. Have you ever observed how a completely healthy bush suddenly began to fade and turn yellow, then lay down on the ground and die, undermined by wireworms or a bear? To combat just such pests, the Russian CJSC "August" has developed the drug Mukhoed, which we will try to tell you about in detail in this article.

Appointment of the drug Muhoed

The fly beetle is a systemic intestinal insecticide used to kill cabbage, onion and other flies, mushroom gnats, soil flies, furrowed weevils, bears and wireworms. The preparation destroys both adult insects and larvae. The Mukhoed is used most often to protect cabbage, onion and flower crops, including indoor ones, from soil pests.

Mukhoed action

The active ingredient of Muhoed is diazinon. Thanks to the aromatic bait, the pests willingly eat the drug, after which they lose the ability to move, eat and reproduce. After 2-3 days, they die, and some of them die, rising from the ground to the surface.

After watering or rain, the granules embedded in the soil dissolve, the drug is absorbed by the root system and penetrates into the sap and tissues of the plant, as a result of which gnawing and sucking pests that feed on ground organs die. They use the Mukhoed only once a season, since it has a prolonged protective effect.

A feature of the drug is sometimes fungal plaque formed on the granules. Do not remove it: it attracts insects, in particular mushroom mosquitoes.

The analogues of Mukhoyed are the preparations Barguzin, Praktik, Diez 600, Diazin Euro and Ricochet. There is also an improved version of the Muchoed - the Super Muchoed, designed to destroy all types of flies.

Benefits of the Muchoed:

  • the drug destroys both adults and larvae;
  • it is effective against moth nests;
  • the death of pests occurs within two days from the moment the granules are introduced into the soil;
  • The fly beetle is not phytotoxic;
  • resistance in the case of drug use is unlikely;
  • the protective effect of the insecticide lasts up to 60 days;
  • the drug quickly disintegrates without accumulating in the soil.

Instructions for the use of Muhoed

The fly eater is available in the form of granules. Most often it can be found in packages of 10 and 25 g. 1 teaspoon of the drug is equal to 5 g.

  • The insecticide should be applied to the soil prior to planting or sowing. An exception is the onion, which is sown on a feather: the active ingredient is absorbed by the roots, quickly enters the greens, and then into your stomach, so you cannot use the Muchoed.
  • When planting seedlings of cabbage or flowers, the Muchoed is placed in the holes and mixed with the ground.
  • When planting trees, the granules are embedded in the root hole.
  • You can lay the Mukhoed directly in places where beetles, wireworms or bears are found, for example, in compost pits.

The Mukhoed granules are laid in the morning or in the evening in dry weather. Watering after placing the preparation in the ground is desirable, but not required.

The fly beetle belongs to the third class of danger, which means that it is low-toxic to soil organisms, people, animals and fish, but it is not recommended to allow granules to get into water bodies. For pollinating insects, soil insecticides are safe.

It is not recommended to mix the Mukhoed with other preparations, including mineral fertilizers.

  • You need to work with the Mukhoyed in rubber gloves, a respirator and a dressing gown.
  • It is forbidden to drink, eat or smoke during work.
  • After completing the laying of the granules in the soil, you need to change clothes, wash your hands and face with soap, and rinse your mouth with clean water.

First aid

At the first signs of poisoning, you should immediately consult a doctor, showing him the package from the drug. DO NOT TREAT YOURSELF!

Storing the Mukhoed

The shelf life of the drug is 2 years. Store it in a tightly closed container in a dry place out of the reach of children and animals. Keep food and medicine away from the Muchoed.

Arkady: this season for the first time tested the Muchoed against soil flies on cabbage. I was looking forward to a quick result. What can I say ... The pests have disappeared. Now I'm looking forward to a good harvest.

Zinaida: applied the Moho-eater against pests of indoor plants. I really didn't want to drag flowers to the balcony, spray them and smell this stench. And she did the right thing: neither midges, nor mosquitoes were gone.

Tishchenko: The flycatcher was recommended to me at the flower shop. I was skeptical of him, but I bought a bag anyway. And to my surprise, I managed to get rid of the midges, which annoyed my flowering houseplants for a long time, in one go.

The drug Muhoed from soil pests (10 gr): instructions for use and reviews

The preparation Mukhoed is a modern remedy for combating soil pests of flower plants, as well as vegetable crops. TO

The main advantage of the drug is that it allows you to destroy not only adult insects, but also their larvae.

The tool allows you to effectively fight cabbage and onion flies, as well as soil flies.

Granulated Muchoed from soil pests is applied to the beds during planting, followed by loosening of the soil.

If flowering plants are processed, then the product is applied superficially, followed by embedding in the ground.

The Mukhoed received reviews as a remedy with a long protective period, non-toxic to plants and one that does not accumulate in the soil.

Also, the product does not destroy earthworms and does not cause the death of beneficial microorganisms.

The death of pests occurs very quickly - 2-3 days after the drug enters the insect's body.

In the future, the protective property remains throughout the season without additional soil treatments.

Chemical properties

The main active ingredient of Muhoed is diazinon. Its concentration in the granular preparation is 40 g / kg.

How does the remedy work

Diazinon is a nerve insecticide. It blocks the normal transmission of nerve impulses, disrupts the work of the nervous system of pests. This leads to muscle convulsive activity, the development of paralysis and the death of insects.

Thanks to aromatic baits, the Moho-eater is actively eaten by pests. After the poison enters the body, it begins to act almost immediately. The first deaths are observed after 2 ... 3 days. Some pests die right in the ground, and some of them rise to the surface and die in the air.

After the rain has passed or the plants are watered, the active substances that are included in the Muhoed preparation will enter the plant from the soil. When feeding on juice, insects will receive a lethal dose of poison and die in a few days.

Culture Pest Consumption rate of the drug Method, processing time, application features
Indoor plants and flowers outdoors Soil flies, mushroom mosquitoes, furrowed weevil, etc. 2-3 g / 1 m 2 Application to the surface of the soil around the plants, followed by loosening
Cabbage Cabbage fly 40 g / 10 m2 Application to the soil surface in the area of the root collar with simultaneous loosening when planting seedlings
Onion Onion fly 50 g / 10 m 2 Application to the soil surface during planting with subsequent loosening

Instructions for use

Instructions for the use of Muchoed provide several ways to use the drug:

  1. when planting tuberous plants and sowing seeds
  2. tillage with granules at the time of planting
  3. laying of granules in the root fossa of seedlings, followed by pinning
  4. scattering of granules followed by loosening of the soil.

The last method of using Muhoed is the most common. The granules are scattered onto the surface to be treated with a rate of 25 ... 50 g per 10 m 2. After that, a slight loosening of the soil is performed, which allows the preparation to deepen into the soil.

This kind of treatment is recommended either in the morning or in the evening in dry weather. Watering can be done after treatment, but this is not required.

The Moho-eater instruction from soil pests recommends making it with rubber gloves.

During processing, it is forbidden to drink, smoke, eat. Compliance with these simple rules will exclude diazinon poisoning.

  • sold ready to be applied to the soil

First aid

If the drug has been spilled on the skin or drunk in any way, it is necessary to provide first aid:

  • Be sure to call an ambulance
  • Remove the product with a cotton swab or towel, try not to rub the solution into the skin
  • If Akarin gets into eyes, rinse thoroughly with water (at least 15 minutes)
  • If the person inhaled in vapors - take him to fresh air
  • If you swallowed the contents of the ampoule, drink activated charcoal (1 tablet / 1 kg body weight), try to induce vomiting

Remember that the use of any product definitely requires attention, as well as safe storage away from children and animals.

Rules for use in the greenhouse and open field

The process of preparing a working preparation and its application is simple to implement. But for this it is necessary to exactly follow the algorithm described in the instructions.

Fitosporin is more effective when used prophylactically.

Indications for processing

It is advisable to use phytosporin to treat plants with:

  • alternaria
  • bacteriosis
  • bacterial cancer
  • brown rust
  • root rot
  • false and true powdery mildew
  • monolithic burns
  • scab
  • penicillous rot
  • rhizoctonia
  • septoria
  • snow mold
  • tracheomycosis
  • late blight
  • phomosis
  • cercospora
  • black rot.

Since phytosporin is a universal drug, it effectively fights against the above phytopathologies, and is also suitable as a prophylactic agent.

How to cook

It is necessary to dilute the drug taking into account the form of its release and the purpose of use. More detailed instructions are given in the table.

Culture Proportions Processing features
Onions, potatoes, bulb flowers 10 g per ½ liter of water Tubers and bulbs of crops are soaked in the resulting solution. The product is also used for spraying during the period of active growth. The specified volume is enough to process 20 kg of planting material.
Any seeds ½ tsp mixture for 100 ml of water Disinfection is carried out within a few hours
Roots 10 g of substance per 5 l of water The resulting composition can be watered or used to soak the root system of a crop.

Culture Proportions Application features
Plant tubers and bulbs Add 100-200 g of paste to 200 ml of water. Stir until smooth Add 3 tbsp. l. solution in a glass of water. Use for spraying
Seeds, vegetables, flowers Add 2 drops of the mixture to 1 glass of water Cultures are soaked in the resulting concentrate
Houseplants Dissolve 10 drops of the drug in 1 liter of water, apply for spraying For watering the soil, the same concentrate is used, but with 15 drops of Fitosporin

The finished concentrate is used according to the following principle:

  1. The growing season. Dissolve 10 drops of the emulsion in a glass of water and place the seeds or cuttings of the plant. To soak tubers in 60 ml of the drug, add 1 liter of water.
  2. The beginning of phytopathology. The fungicide is diluted with water in proportions of 1:20, respectively. Re-processing is performed in 10-12 days.

Rot or fungus in the spreading stage is destroyed with a concentrate made from 1 part of liquid Fitosporin and 2 parts of water. The interval between treatments is 2 weeks.

Security measures

Fitosporin is a natural preparation, so it is completely safe. But when working with it, you should still observe the following safety measures:

  • do not use tableware to prepare the preparation
  • be sure to wear gloves, a respirator, goggles and a protective suit
  • when stirring the product, do not drink water, eat or smoke
  • after finishing the treatment of plants, you need to take a shower, wash tools and change clothes.

If the solution gets into the eyes or on the skin, rinse the affected area thoroughly.

Modifications and compatibility

The tool is a basic drug; several modifications have been created on its basis.

For example, for the southern regions it is recommended to use "Confidor Maxi", experts say that it has a wider temperature range in which its effectiveness remains. If the base preparation works from +15 ° С to +25 ° С, then Confidor Maxi is effective from +4 ° С to +30 degrees.

In terms of compatibility with pesticides, the insecticide is compatible with most pesticides except those that are alkaline. This applies to:

  • bordeaux liquid
  • copper sulfate (copper sulfate)
  • copper oxychloride
  • formulations containing lime and soda.

Recently, another modification has been created - this is "Confidor extra", reviews about this drug are only positive. It is a continuation of the Maxi line. There are very few consumer reviews due to the novelty of the design.

As for the interaction with biological products, it all depends on the time of application. If these funds were dispersed earlier, then they do not reduce the effectiveness of "Confidor", but it reduces their effect to zero.
